One that comes to my mind now is the Rbat of Harthema monastery, it's a beautiful building set by the sea, which resembles very much to a castle. It's the top attraction in the area and it is very well preserved ( though built in early 769).
The ribat has been used in series of quite famous films, like one of the best British films ever made 'Life of Brian' and in the Italian directed 'Life of Christ'.Entrance is free.
